Workplace Conflict Resolution Specialist

**About the Role**
This position is responsible for supporting the Government of Nova Scotia's goal of a respectful workplace culture.
The successful candidate will work with Human Resource professionals, managers, senior officials, and employees to provide subject matter expertise, analysis, and advice on workplace restoration options.
The key responsibilities include providing timely and professional responses to workplace concerns, overseeing the Respectful Workplace Policy, leading and coordinating facilitated discussions and mediations, reviewing and assessing complaints, conducting workplace investigations, and reporting writing.
Additionally, the role involves conflict coaching and other modes of ongoing support for a respectful workplace culture, as well as tracking and reporting on workplace resolution needs and efforts within the public service.
**Key Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Several years of related work experience or an acceptable equivalent combination of training or experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Able to engage in sensitive matters with prudence and discretion
The ideal candidate will have thorough understanding of and direct experience with workplace conflict resolution principles and best practices.
