Key Responsibilities:
* Assist clients with personal care, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
* Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
* Take clients on outings or exercise, promoting physical and mental well-being
* Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping duties
* Provide respite care to clients while their primary caregivers are away
* Remind clients to take their medication and assist with appointments
Requirements:
* Valid Personal Support Worker Certificate from a recognized program
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to lift 50lbs and perform physical tasks as required
* Valid Standard First Aid and Level C CPR certification
* Updated immunization records and a clear criminal background check

This role will include assisting clients with personal care, providing companionship, taking clients on outings or exercise, preparing meals, and performing light housekeeping duties.
The position may require daily travel of more than 30 minutes, so a vehicle is required.
Physical ability to stand, bend, walk, crouch, kneel, and reach, ability to lift 50lbs independently, ability to assist clients with standing, walking, and sitting, and ability to reposition clients in bed are required.
Valid Standard First Aid and Level C CPR certification, updated immunization records, and a clear criminal background check are required upon hire.
Ability to interact with others in a caring, tactful, and courteous manner, proficient verbal and written English communication skills, and ability to use phone applications are also required.
Qualifications:
* Have one of the following qualifications: Valid Personal Support Worker Certificate from a recognized program, RN/RPN, Paramedic, Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy student with a minimum successful completion of year one of the program, Home Support Worker (level II or III), Health Care Aide, or Personal Attendant, Developmental Support Worker, or Internationally licensed Nurse, Midwife, or Physician
