About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our Primary Health Care team at Nova Scotia Health and IWK Health. The successful candidate will work in collaboration with Primary Health Care staff, family physicians, and other healthcare providers to provide physiotherapy services to clients with chronic pain.

This is a long-assignment full-time position with 75 hours bi-weekly. Shifts will include days, nights, and weekends, and travel to various sites may be required.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university, membership with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists, and eligibility for membership with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.

About You
  • Experience working with people in chronic pain is required; less experience may be considered
  • Valid driver's license and daily access to a reliable car for travel to multiple sites and community locations
  • ACSM Exercise Specialist Certification or CSEP is an asset
  • Preferred experience in partnership development, stakeholder collaboration, and community development

Compensation and Benefits

$33.96 - $42.89 Hourly
