Job Title: Construction Manager - Tunnel and Elevated Guideway Project

We are currently seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join our team on the Ontario Line project. This is a challenging opportunity for a skilled professional to lead a large-scale construction project, working closely with our clients and stakeholders to deliver results on time and within budget.

Salary Range:

$120,000 - $150,000 per year

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the construction activities on-site, ensuring that all works are carried out in accordance with the approved plans and specifications. This includes managing material handling, site preparation, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. The role also involves coordinating with subcontractors' work, monitoring progress, and maintaining effective communication with managers and team members.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of construction professionals to achieve project goals
  • Develop and implement construction strategies to ensure timely completion and quality standards
  • Manage budgets and resources to maximize efficiency and minimize costs
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
  • Maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • 5-10 years of experience in construction or a related field, preferably on large and complex projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, material handling, and site preparation
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • A valid Ontario Driving license G or G2
