We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Substitute Instructor to join our team at North Island College. As a substitute instructor, you will be responsible for teaching various courses, including Automotive Service Technician, on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will possess excellent instructional abilities, strong organizational and communication skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach various courses, including Automotive Service Technician, on a part-time basis.
  • Develop and implement curriculum and assessments that meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Maintain accurate records of student enrollment and achievement.
  • Contribute to the development of Education and Strategic plans.
  • Participate in College committees and activities.

Qualifications:
- Journeyperson Interprovincial Qualification (Red Seal) in Automotive Service Technician.
- Certificate of Apprenticeship.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a journeyperson in the Automotive Service field.
- Experience instructing adults in a post-secondary environment.
- Completion of the Provincial Instructors Diploma program.
