Job Overview

The Airport Human Resources Advisor is a generalist role, responsible for providing proactive and strategic human resources consultation and advice to Airport management and staff. The HR Advisor works with a high degree of independence, interpreting client needs, assessing requirements, and identifying solutions.

Main Responsibilities

- Working with clients as a strategic partner to provide advice, guidance and interpretation of HR policy, guidelines, procedures, processes and data within prescribed guidelines.
- Assisting management in collective agreement interpretation and administration within prescribed guidelines.
- Delivering HR solutions to meet business requirements including serving as a single point of contact for clients while leveraging internal and external HR expertise.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Successful completion of a post-secondary diploma in Human Resources Management or a related discipline and a minimum of three (3) years' directly related generalist experience.
- Broad HR experience in a variety of HR disciplines, which may include occupational health and safety, compensation and total rewards, organizational development, HR process, inclusion and diversity, employment law, talent management, performance management, analytics, and employee relations.
