We are seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team at Greenlane Montessori Inc.
Job SummaryThis is a permanent, full-time position with a salary range of $45,000-$55,000 per year.
The successful candidate will have experience in bookkeeping and financial record-keeping, with a focus on maintaining accurate and up-to-date records for our organization.
This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare cheques for payroll and maintain accurate financial records
- Calculate fixed assets and depreciation, and maintain general ledgers and financial statements
- Post journal entries and prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports
- Reconcile accounts and prepare tax returns
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of company finances
- Degree in Accounting or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping and financial record-keeping
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Able to work independently as part of a team
