Personal Support Worker Role

We are seeking a skilled Caregiver Assistant to join our team at RT Medical. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a patient-focused environment and provide care to individuals who need assistance with daily tasks.

About the Job
  • Assist clients with personal care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Take clients on outings or exercise them to promote physical well-being
  • Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Remind clients about their medication and appointments
  • Travel to clients' homes or care facilities to provide care

This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements
  • Hold a valid Personal Support Worker Certificate from a Ministry-approved program
  • Have a reliable vehicle and be willing to travel
  • Meet physical demands of the job, including standing, walking, and lifting
  • Hold current Standard First Aid and CPR certifications
  • Pass a background check and Vulnerable Sector screening
