At Flag Depot Inc., we are seeking a skilled Network Systems Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and administering our local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.

The ideal candidate will have experience with computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software. You will evaluate and install new equipment, provide problem-solving services to network users, and implement data, software, and hardware security procedures.

In addition, you will perform routine network start up and close down, maintain control records, and perform data backups and disaster recovery operations. You will also set up local area networks and connections to the Internet, implement network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimize server performance.

As a Network Systems Administrator, you will work closely with our technical staff to ensure the smooth operation of our IT systems. You will also be responsible for modifying Web pages, applets, and scripts, researching and applying meta-data to Websites, and registering Websites with search engines.
