We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Management Executive to lead our Enterprise Project Delivery team at The Co-operators. As a key member of our Enterprise Transformation Office, you will be responsible for establishing a new project management delivery team and overseeing the execution of complex business changes across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive enterprise project management strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Lead a team of project and delivery resources to execute on business unit projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Partner with business units to match business needs with project management resources and build a collaborative work environment.
- Develop and implement standardized project management methodologies, procedures, and processes to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Provide coaching, direction, and feedback to project managers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead and engage the project management team to deliver strategic objectives through effective coaching and mentoring.
- 8+ years of progressive Project Management experience, including experience in developing and implementing PM standardized methodologies, procedures, and processes.
- Completed a degree in Business or a related field.
- Hold or be pursuing a Project Management Professional certification.
- Extensive project management execution experience, directing large and complex programs across business and technology.
- Strong knowledge of key concepts of financial management such as budgeting, financial forecasting, and resource allocation.
- Mastery of different project management frameworks such as Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, etc.
- Experience working in the financial services sector and skilled at navigating regulatory and compliance impacts in project management.
- Experienced people leader, well-skilled in guiding teams to deliver and operate innovatively in an engaged environment.
