About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Lead Product Manager to join our Product Management team at Intello Technologies Inc. as a Back-end Product Owner. This is a critical role that requires a deep understanding of the smart home market and the ability to shape the future of smart living globally.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Feature Owners, Platform Software Development Managers, Platform Technical Leads, and Platform Engineers to create a world-class home security capability.
  • Be embedded within an Agile development squad, working with engineering leaders to set sprint goals and define the highest value problems for the team to solve.
  • Break Features down into Epics and User Stories that can be delivered in a single sprint, and create acceptance criteria definitions to guide design, development, and testing.
  • Build, prioritize, and manage your squad's backlog of work related to new capabilities.
  • Ensure dependencies are mapped and work with engineering leads to plan sprints.
  • Define and measure performance against the KPIs for your Epics and User Stories.
Qualifications
  • You are likely in a similar product-focused position today, but with a strong technical background.
  • You are or have:
    • A customer-first mindset, with a track record of applying this to a diverse range of personas, including highly technical users.
    • SIGNIFICANT YEARS of relevant work experience in platform product management or development, using Agile methodologies.
    • A known ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex dependencies.
    • An exceptional storyteller with the ability to simplify messages to any audience.
Great-to-Haves
  • Both B2B and B2C or B2B2C experience.
  • Global or multi-market product management experience.
  • A strategic understanding of smart home and IoT technologies.
  • Expertise in authentication, authorization, AI/ML, rules engines, event management, IoT device life cycle management, electrical engineering, or grid management.
  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science or equivalent practical experience; MBA is an asset.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $106,000-$158,000 per year. Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 15%. Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance, and experience.
