Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Medical Technician to join our team at Health Careers in Saskatchewan.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for responding to emergent and non-emergent calls for service, providing Advanced Life Support, initial assessment, treatment, and transportation of ill or injured persons in accordance with the Saskatchewan Ambulance Act and Regulations, Emergency Health Services Basic and Advance Life Support Protocols, and Saskatchewan Health Authority Policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to emergency calls and provide medical care to patients
  • Operate ambulance equipment and vehicles
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide patient care
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements
  • Valid Class 4 driver's license
  • International Trauma Life Support Certificate (ITLS)
  • Pre-Hospital Care Program - Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) Level
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Level C Certificate (CPR)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics at PCP/EMT level
  • HSAS membership
