Senior Culinary Specialist for Multicultural Cuisine

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Senior Culinary Specialist to join our team at Essence of Spice Indian Restaurant Inc. This role involves coordinating special events, planning menus, and overseeing kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate special events, such as catering services and festivals, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional guest experiences.
- Develop and implement menu plans, taking into account seasonal ingredients, customer preferences, and cultural nuances.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and quality, adhering to industry regulations and best practices.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation standards.
- Monitor inventory levels, manage supplies, and maintain records of equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Clean and maintain the kitchen and work areas, adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Bachelor's degree in culinary arts or a related field.
- Minimum 7 months of experience in a similar role, preferably in an Indian restaurant setting.
- Safe Food Handling certificate.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with ability to work under pressure.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
This is a physically demanding role that requires long hours on your feet, manual lifting, and exposure to heat and noise.
