Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Marketing Strategist to join our Development and Communications team. You will be responsible for developing and implementing English communications and marketing strategies to promote Mon Sheong's work and elevate its brand image.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement effective English communications and marketing initiatives to promote Mon Sheong's services, events, and fundraising needs.
  2. Oversight of the preparation of English communications materials, including feature articles, press releases, letters, speeches, marketing collaterals, publications, and digital marketing materials.
  3. Maintenance of the corporate website to ensure professional and effective communication with the audience.
  4. Management of social media platforms to enhance the Foundation's digital presence, including strategy, activity, content, engagement, and advertising campaigns.
  5. Collaboration with PR & Brand Marketing Manager to strengthen mainstream media relations and media pitch activities.
  6. Closely working with the Manager, Event Management to coordinate and execute Foundation events, overseeing production of promotional materials and external communications to generate event publicity and coverage.
  7. Collaboration with Fundraising team to produce fundraising campaigns and assist in soliciting and stewarding corporate sponsors, donors, and prospects.
  8. Facilitating understanding between the Foundation and the community through liaison efforts.
Qualifications
  1. Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, public relations, advertising, or equivalent.
  2. Work experience in corporate communications and marketing, original writing and editing, and some public relations.
  3. Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to translate between languages an asset.
  4. Detail-oriented with demonstrated proofreading skills.
  5. Excellent time and project management skills with the ability to prioritize and oversee multiple tasks.
  6. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  7. Valid driver's license with access to a reliable vehicle an asset.
