  • Menu Planning and Preparation

Plan and prepare menus, estimating food requirements and requisitioning supplies as needed.

Culinary Skills

Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, adhering to food safety and quality standards.

Food Safety and Quality

Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Staff Training and Development

Train and supervise kitchen staff and helpers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.

Inventory Management

Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment, ordering supplies and equipment as needed.

Cleanliness and Organization

Clean and maintain kitchen and work areas, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for staff and customers.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Language

Fluent in English.

Work Hours

40 hours per week.
