Role Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Public Guardian Representative to join our team in Edmonton. As a Public Guardian Representative, you will play a critical role in making quality decisions on behalf of represented adults and providing case management services for an assigned caseload.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with our dynamic team to provide exceptional support to vulnerable adults.
  • Negotiate and review case management plans to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Participate in case conferences and public presentations to engage clients and keep stakeholders informed.
  • Adapt to a flexible schedule, including occasional evening and weekend meetings.
  • Participate in an on-call/after-hours rotation to ensure 24/7 support.
Requirements:
  • Excellent collaboration and negotiation skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, including daily communication with physicians and allied health professionals.
  • Strong interviewing and assessment skills.
  • Outstanding problem-solving, mediation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Confident public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Strong research and advocacy skills.
