Senior Risk Lead Job Description

Turner & Townsend is seeking a highly skilled Senior Risk Lead to join our team. As a Senior Risk Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of best practice risk management activities and reporting to the Director of Risk Management and Head of Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiate a proactive approach to the review, development, and improvement of the risk management service to the client.
  • Undertake end-to-end project risk management practice on multiple projects/programs.
  • Develop and implement risk management plans and processes in adherence to client requirements, processes, policies, and frameworks.
  • Lead workshops with internal and external stakeholders to identify and analyze risks.
  • Conduct regular risk reviews, identify response plans, and ensure project and program risk profiles are being monitored and reported.
  • Establish integration of the risk management function within the program, with direct touch points to key functions.
  • Develop risk response strategies and maintain risk mitigation processes.
  • Collaborate with program and project teams to eliminate redundancies and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer within the risk team and to the client organization.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years post-graduate experience in program/project risk management, preferably in Energy and Natural Resources and infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of risk modeling and experience with risk software such as Safran, ARM, @Risk, Oracle PRA, Crystall Ball.
  • Experience in conducting risk management training sessions.
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
  • Gained or working towards Project Management/Risk Management certifications are an asset.
