Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Robin's Donuts. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our coffee shop, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food and beverage products meet the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities
Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Train and Develop StaffTrain staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles.
Estimate and Manage InventoryEstimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and manage inventory levels to ensure that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
Ensure Quality ControlEnsure that food and service meet quality control standards, and take corrective action if necessary to maintain high standards.
Prepare Budgets and ReportsPrepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Address Customer ComplaintsAddress customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and take steps to resolve issues promptly.
Requirements- Education
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
Work EnvironmentNoisy and odour-filled work environment.
Work SettingCoffee shop, fast food outlet or concession, and restaurant.
TasksEstablish methods to meet work schedules, supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff, train staff, estimate ingredient and supplies required, ensure quality control, prepare budgets and reports, address customer complaints, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
SupervisionSupervise 3-4 people.
Transportation/Travel InformationOwn transportation.
Work Conditions and Physical CapabilitiesFast-paced environment, work under pressure, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, walking, physically demanding, and attention to detail.
Personal SuitabilityClient focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player, initiative, and dependability.
Experience7 months to less than 1 year of experience.
