Job Title: Construction Labourer

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at TDOT BUILDERS GROUP LTD. As a Construction Labourer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful completion of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load, Unload, and Transport Construction Materials: Safely load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from construction sites.
  • Erect and Dismantle Concrete Forms, Scaffolding, Ramps, Catwalks, Shoring, and Barricades: Assist in the erection and dismantling of concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mix, Pour, and Spread Materials: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt as directed by supervisors.
  • Assist in Framing Houses, Erecting Walls, and Building Roofs: Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs as part of a construction team.
  • Level Earth to Fine Grade Specifications: Level earth to fine grade specifications as required.
  • Pave and Rake Asphalt: Pave and rake asphalt as directed by supervisors.
  • Clean and Pile Salvaged Materials: Clean and pile salvaged materials as required.
  • Perform Routine Maintenance Work: Perform routine maintenance work as directed by supervisors.
  • Remove Rubble and Other Debris at Construction Sites: Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites as required.
  • Direct Traffic at or Near Construction Sites: Direct traffic at or near construction sites as required.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Setting: Urban area, various locations, rural area, and construction site.
  • Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, fast-paced environment, work under pressure, manual dexterity, handling heavy loads, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client focus, dependability, flexibility, reliability, team player, and hardworking.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months, permanent position, 35 hours per week, and English language.
