Job Title: Construction Labourer

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at C&G PAINTING & DECORATING. As a Construction Labourer, you will be responsible for assisting in the construction process, including loading and unloading materials, erecting scaffolding, and mixing and pouring concrete.

Work Environment

Our Construction Labourer will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, handling heavy loads and working at heights. The ideal candidate will have manual dexterity and be able to work in a physically demanding role.

Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, and barricades
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications
  • Assist in demolishing buildings
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding role
  • Manual dexterity and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
