Job Title: Manager - Development Engineering

At the City of Maple Ridge, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager of Development Engineering to lead our team in driving the city's growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee engineering plans for subdivisions and other developments
  • Lead a talented team of engineers and technicians
  • Influence policy decisions and ensure projects meet the highest standards
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for transportation and infrastructure projects
Requirements:
  • Completion of a University degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Minimum of five years of municipal related engineering experience at a supervisory level or higher
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, municipal administration, and procedures
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Registration or eligibility for registration as a Professional Engineer with APEGBC
