Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Canada Inc. as a permanent employee. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our guests and employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Floor Care: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Dusting and Vacuuming: Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to maintain a clean and tidy space.
  • Bed Making and Linen Management: Make beds and change sheets to ensure a clean and comfortable environment for our guests.
  • Supply Distribution: Distribute clean towels and toiletries to our guests and employees.
  • Stock Management: Stock linen closets to ensure a sufficient supply of linens.
  • Fixture and Appliance Cleaning: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Disinfection and Sanitization: Disinfect operating rooms and other areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items to ensure a smooth and efficient process.
  • Guest Services: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items to provide excellent customer service.
  • Facilities Support: Provide basic information on facilities to our guests and employees.
  • Waste Management: Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Window Cleaning: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and tidy space.
  • Changing Room and Shower Cleaning: Clean changing rooms and showers to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.Support for Persons with Disabilities
    • Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities.
    Support for Newcomers and Refugees
    • Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
    Support for Youths
    • Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
    Support for Veterans
    • Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for Veterans.
    Support for Indigenous People
    • Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
    Support for Mature Workers
    • Provides staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers.
    Support for Visible Minorities
    • Provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
