Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead client-facing engagement teams to achieve project goals and objectives
  2. Deliver industry and technical expertise in audit and assurance through client interactions, reports, and management presentations
  3. Manage a portfolio of clients, understanding their business, key risks, and opportunities for added value
  4. Accountable for engagement planning, scheduling, and project financials (budgets, WIPS, timely billing, collection, and variance recognition)
  5. Maintain quality control and apply specialized knowledge to anticipate, identify, and address issues relevant to the client's business, financial entries, and reports
  6. Network in the local business community, consider business development opportunities, and contribute to proposal development to meet client needs
  7. Mentor, motivate, and coach team members towards professional and personal growth by setting clear expectations, providing feedback, and conducting performance reviews
  8. Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary

Skills and Qualifications

  1. 6 years of relevant accounting experience
  2. Working towards a CPA designation is considered an asset
  3. Strong understanding of business, accounting, management, and practice development principles
  4. Proven people management, relationship building, and leadership skills
  5. Experience working with accounting and tax software

What We Offer
