Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Dairy Frozen Associate to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a Dairy Frozen Associate, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and assisting with the sale of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Zoning the department to ensure a visually appealing and easy-to-navigate shopping experience.
  • Rotating stock and checking for expired products to maintain a high level of product freshness and quality.
  • Ensuring merchandise is properly signed and priced to prevent errors and maintain accuracy.
  • Adhering to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates to ensure a safe and healthy shopping environment.
  • Following proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels to maintain accurate inventory levels and prevent stockouts.
  • Maintaining features and ensuring the area is neat, clean, and organized to provide a positive shopping experience.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail or customer service experience an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 kg and stand for long periods.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a retail or customer service role.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and stock control procedures.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
