About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Plumber to join our team at Wiehler Mechanical Ltd. in Calgary, AB. As a key member of our plumbing team, you will be responsible for installing gas lines, water lines, and additional plumbing fixtures in custom homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install gas lines, water lines, and plumbing fixtures in custom homes
  • Perform groundwork and read blueprints to ensure accurate installation
  • Rough-in fixtures according to plan and install hot water tanks, on-demand hot water units, hydronics, and boilers as needed
Requirements
  • 3rd year, 4th year, or Journeyman certification
  • Journeyman certification
  • Experience in new home construction
  • In-depth knowledge of plumbing installation procedures, equipment, quality standards, and safety guidelines
  • Working knowledge of Alberta plumbing and gas codes
  • Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Attention to detail and motivation to produce high-quality work
