About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Supervisor to join our team at Metrotown Bottle Return Centre. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our warehouse and ensuring that our customers receive excellent service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless operation of our warehouse.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on warehouse activity, including inventory levels and customer satisfaction.
  • Problem Solving: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Training: Train workers in duties and policies to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Scheduling: Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Maintenance: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role;
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
  • A strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics;
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills;
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Location and Work Schedule

This role is based in Metrotown, British Columbia, and requires a 30-40 hour workweek. You will be working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
