Dental Assistant

River Street Endodontics is a privately owned endodontic practice in downtown Toronto. We are seeking a highly skilled dental assistant to join our team.
About the JobThis is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $24-32 per hour based on the ODAA/ODA wage report. Our ideal candidate will have Level 2 certification, excellent communication skills, and experience working with dental software. You will be responsible for assisting dentists with root canal therapy, taking x-rays, and maintaining patient records.
Responsibilities- Assist dentists with procedures such as root canal therapy, retreatment, and apical surgery.
- Take x-rays using RINN equipment with and without rubber dam.
- Maintain patient records, including charting and documentation.
- Perform daily Harp testing and recording.
- Set up and tear down treatment rooms according to IPAC standards.
- Sterilize equipment and maintain a clean work environment.
- Level 2 certification.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience working with dental software and technology.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- A valid CPR certificate and up-to-date WHMIS training.
- No sponsorships or candidates without college certification.
