Shift Team Lead

At Tim Hortons, we're looking for a skilled Shift Supervisor to support our management team in ensuring the smooth operation of our stores. As a Shift Supervisor, you'll play a key role in maintaining high standards of customer service, productivity, and employee satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and coordinate the day-to-day activities of employees, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Create a safe and positive work environment, free from harassment and violence, by modeling company brand standards and adhering to all policies and SOPs.
- Complete opening, daily, and closing procedures, as well as maintain proper security of cash and inventory.
- Operate cash registers, resolve customer complaints, and practice excellent food safety and sanitation practices.
- Prepare employee schedules, ensure coverage, and deliver brand training for cross-training.
- Coach, mentor, and discipline employees as required, and implement product rotation and inventory management.
- Deliver training for new employees, monitor compliance with safety guidelines, and respond to guest injuries and property damage.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 6 months supervisory/lead experience in Food & Beverage, cash handling, and customer service
- Ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions, policy documents, and converse comfortably with customers
- Demonstrate ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
- First Aid and Food Safety Certificate an asset
