Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Technician to join our team at Equiton Partners. As an Accounting Technician, you will be responsible for providing financial support to our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and financial statements.
  • Accounting Software: Utilize accounting software to process transactions, reconcile accounts, and prepare financial reports.
  • Payroll Administration: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in accounting software, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. The ability to work independently and under pressure is essential.
