About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Sushi Chef to join our team at Sushi Makira. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of sushi dishes and other Japanese cuisine
  • Order and manage supplies and equipment to ensure efficient kitchen operations
  • Maintain accurate inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean and maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Strong physical capabilities, including handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods
