Job Title: Precision Machining Specialist

Wilson Tool Canada is seeking a skilled CNC (computer numerical control) machinist to join our team. This role involves working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, operating computer-controlled machine tools and producing high-precision parts.

About the Job

We are looking for an experienced CNC machinist who can work independently and as part of a team to meet tight deadlines. The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and be able to adapt to changing priorities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Machine Operation: Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools to produce precision parts.
  • Tolerancing: Compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts to ensure accuracy and conformance to specifications.
  • Quality Control: Verify dimensions of products using precision measuring instruments and identify any defects or discrepancies.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machine tools to minimize downtime and optimize production.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in CNC machining.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of CNC programming, familiarity with CAD software, and experience with milling machines, sawing machines, tapping machines, and CNC machines.
