Job Description

The CNC Machinist is responsible for:

  • Reading process sheets, blueprints, and sketches to determine final product specifications
  • Reviewing specifications to determine setup procedures, machining sequences, and dimensions of finished products
  • Ensuring effective production of quality parts by checking drawing/sketches, using gauges, and other measuring equipment
  • Computing dimensions and tolerances, and measuring and laying out work pieces
  • Setting up, operating, and maintaining conventional and computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools
  • Verifying product dimensions for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC machining
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • The ability to read blueprints/sketches
