Principal Development Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Principal Development Analyst to join our team at Caldic North America. As a key member of our Principal Development Team, you will play a critical role in supporting the administration and management of our Principals, with a focus on fast-tracking and streamlining activities, continuous process improvement, and transactional costs reduction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic support to assigned Principal Managers to prioritize value-add activities aligned with business objectives
  • Project management lead for New Business Development initiatives, owning the process but not the strategy
  • Set up of New Products and New Vendors as needed, including complete documentation
  • Interact and coordinate with Principals and PMs to ensure fast turnaround time to internal client requests
  • Manage the Sourcing Support ticket system and respond to tickets related to the assigned portfolio
  • Responsible for the creation and maintenance of Trade Agreements for the assigned portfolio
  • Provide assistance to Marketing with social media support and coordinating Principal Trade Show collaboration
  • Support the Change Control Process and Cleansing and execute as needed
  • Participate in joint customer calls with Sales and Product Management as needed
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration or a related field
  • 1-2 years' experience in a similar role or supporting a Business Area
  • Commercial mindset, willingness to learn, and hands-on/customer-centric attitude
  • Knowledge of Marketing, Procurement, or Supply Chain is an asset
  • Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Commercial Reporting Tools, CRM, and ERP tools)
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Strong organization skills
