Job Summary

Thumka Holding Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to lead our food service team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Food Service Staff

Oversee the activities of food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet customer needs.

Train and Develop Staff

Provide training and development opportunities to food service staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Inventory Management

Estimate and manage inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet customer demand.

Quality Control

Ensure that food and service meet our high quality standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.

Record Keeping

Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.

Communication

Prepare and communicate food order summaries to the chef and other relevant staff members.

Scheduling

Establish and manage work schedules to ensure that we have the necessary staff to meet customer demand.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service supervisory role

Support for Newcomers and Refugees

Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees

Support for Youths

Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment

Support for Indigenous People

Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people

Support for Mature Workers

Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports mature workers

Language

Fluent in English

Work Hours

40 hours per week
