We are seeking a skilled Interior Designer to join our team at Peerless Talent. As a fast-growing renovations startup, we provide basement finishing solutions throughout GTA and are looking for a detail-oriented professional to help us deliver exceptional results.

About the Role:

As an Interior Designer at Peerless Talent, you will be responsible for understanding and outlining client design objectives, conducting site visits for measurements, and conceptualizing and sketching design plans. You will also determine the cost of completion and project requirements in the budgeting phase, set a timeline for the completion of an interior design project, source materials and products included in plans, and create 'mood boards' to sample your design vision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand and outline client design objectives
  • Conduct site visits for measurements
  • Conceptualize and sketch design plans
  • Determine cost of completion and project requirements in the budgeting phase
  • Set a timeline for the completion of an interior design project
  • Source materials and products included in plans
  • Create 'mood boards' to sample your design vision
  • Utilize computer applications in the design process
  • Inspect design after completion to determine whether client goals have been met
  • Coordinate trades at site work
  • Assorted administrative duties including answering incoming calls

Requirements:

  • 2 years experience in technical design of basements or main floor layouts
  • Experience in a renovation company or similar environment ideal
  • Proficient technical experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, or similar software
  • Project Portfolio (preferred)

Location: Onsite with clients & in Office (Concord ON)
