Senior Analyst (Permanent) Job Description

As a Senior Analyst in the Portfolio Management team at Banque Nationale du Canada, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality of portfolio management provided to our clients. Your technical skills, financial experience, and knowledge of best practices in portfolio management will have a significant impact on our clients' success.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the calculation and analysis of portfolio manager performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to the quarterly oversight of various investment solutions to ensure compliance with investment policy statements and optimal performance.
  • Verify that transactions comply with investment policy statements prior to execution to maintain the highest level of integrity.
  • Review and validate financial data for client publications to ensure accuracy and transparency.
  • Cross-reference and analyze data from various sources to produce reports that provide actionable insights.
Your Team

You will report to the Senior Portfolio Manager within the Portfolio Management sector. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional results and fostering a collaborative environment.

Prerequisites
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field, combined with 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel functions, including VBA, with knowledge of Power BI, SQL, and Python being an asset.
