Senior Instructional Designer Job Description

We are seeking an exceptionally talented and enthusiastic individual with a keen interest in instructional design to join our team and advance their career. As a senior-level Instructional Designer, you will take the lead in developing training programs on various topics for different clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and development of training materials for in-person, self-paced, and virtual deliveries.
  • Review training materials developed by others and offer feedback for improvement.
  • Mentor and coach junior staff.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • French language skills are considered an asset.
  • Ability to design and develop training materials for adult learners.
  • Ability to tailor content based on project and target audience needs.
  • Ability to interview subject matter experts to extract crucial information needed to develop content.
  • Visual design skills to produce appealing and engaging training materials.
Requirements:
  • At least 10 years of experience as an Instructional Designer.
  • Graduated from a post-secondary program in education, instructional design, technical writing, communication, or a related field.
  • We will consider candidates with related work experience.
