Key Responsibilities- Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting needs.
- Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients, including laundry, cleaning, and organizing.
- Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals to clients, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.
- Companionship: Engage in activities with clients, such as conversation, reading, and watching movies, to help combat loneliness and isolation.
- Transportation: Safely transport clients to appointments, social events, and other activities.
- Medication Reminders: Assist clients with taking their medications as prescribed.
- Education: Completion of a Registered Apprenticeship program or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience in a care-giving role, preferably in a home care setting.
- Certifications: Possession of a Health Care Aide Certificate or equivalent.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
