Job Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including ordering and negotiating owner and lender policies of title insurance. They will also work with procedures, statutes, rules, and regulations applicable to real property law. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of commercial real estate software (Teraview, TitlePlus, etc.) and proficiency in the MS Office environment.
Requirements:
Minimum 9 years of commercial real estate law clerk experience in Ontario law firms. Significant experience in preparing transaction documents, including closing documents and real property documents for electronic registration in the Teraview system. Superior knowledge of commercial real estate software and proficiency in the MS Office environment.
