We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director of Data Management to join our team at NTT DATA, Inc.

About the Role

The Associate Director of Data Management will be responsible for managing and overseeing regular procurement activities, including managing requisitions, purchase orders, and the ordering process with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).

The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement and hardware lifecycle, including establishing hardware and provincial device roadmaps, managing last buys, transitioning to new devices, and retiring old devices.

Additionally, the Associate Director of Data Management will be responsible for managing provincial policy on standardizing hardware, collaborating with Commercial, OEMs, and vendors to ensure alignment with device roadmaps and hardware requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and vendor management, with experience working with SAP Ariba Platform, ServiceNow, and managed services environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee regular procurement activities, including requisitions, purchase orders, and ordering process with OEMs
  • Manage end-to-end procurement and hardware lifecycle, including establishing hardware and provincial device roadmaps
  • Manage provincial policy on standardizing hardware and collaborate with Commercial, OEMs, and vendors
  • Optimize supply chain process by minimizing cost of capital and inventory while meeting hardware forecasts and demand
  • Analyze break/fix incidents from ServiceNow and recommend best warranty plan/parts locker to optimize hardware cost and experience
  • Analyze and help craft RFP/Agreements for suppliers/vendors
  • Develop and maintain balanced scorecards, reporting in partnership with Commercial
Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's Degree (must)
  • 8-12 years relevant procurement experience with vendor management operations
  • Experience working with clients, with excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to lead and manage matrixed overseas teams
  • Direct client-facing experience (front office), preferred
