Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including meals and snacks, to meet the dietary needs of our children and staff.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including planning, organizing, and supervising kitchen staff.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English as the primary language of communication.
  • 35 to 40 hours per week.
