We are seeking a reliable and responsible part-time Meal Kit delivery driver to join our team at Box Bus Inc. in Ottawa.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Meal Kit delivery driver, you will be responsible for delivering meal kits to customers in and around Ottawa. This role requires you to have your own vehicle, which will be used for work purposes.
Requirements:
- A safe and reliable vehicle with winter/all-weather tires
- A smartphone with a data plan
- Excellent English communication skills
- Ability to safely get in and out of your vehicle multiple times a day
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ year of courier experience in the Ottawa area
- Customer service background
- Time management skills
Working Conditions:
This is a part-time position, requiring you to work on Mondays and Tuesdays only. Deliveries will take place between 10am and 8pm, with a typical day consisting of 100-150 km. Routes will be assigned on a weekly basis, and you will be required to return to the warehouse on the same day to collect new packages.
Compensation:
You will be paid a rate of $3-$3.25 per stop, with the potential to earn up to $150-$350 per day. This works out to approximately $25-$35 per hour.
