We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Practical Nurse to join our team at Halton Healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient-centered care plans
- Administer medications and perform physical assessments as required
- Develop and maintain IV lines and provide enteral feeding support
- Utilize electronic documentation systems to record patient information
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current Heart & Stroke Approved BLS Provider Card
- Experience working with elderly populations and advocating for their needs
- Medication administration certification and experience
- Physical assessment and wound care skills
- Enteral feeding experience and maintenance of IV lines
- Experience with electronic documentation systems
- Satisfactory employment and attendance record
