Job Title: Patient Transfer Attendant

Voyago is currently recruiting for part-time Patient Transfer Attendants in London, Ontario. This is a unionized position that requires a valid First Responder Certification, AEMCA, or Paramedic Diploma (must be finished year 1), or a Firefighter with Emergency Medical Responder Certification.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transport patients via stretcher/wheelchair to/from a healthcare facility, nursing home, or private residence.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and excellent communication skills.
Requirements:
  • Valid CPR and First Aid (Level C) certification.
  • Valid G class driving license.
  • Ability to lift 250+ lbs. using a stretcher or stair chair with partner.
  • Effective communication in both verbal and written English.
  • Safe driver with a clean driving record.
  • Clean Criminal Record Search with Vulnerable Sector screening.
  • Up-to-date immunization records, including MMR, DPT, Polio, Varicella, Hepatitis B, COVID-19 (2 doses), and TB Skin Test (Step 1) *must be valid within last 12 months.
  • High School diploma or equivalent, or post-secondary diploma.
