Patient Transfer Attendant

Voyago is currently recruiting for part-time Patient Transfer Attendants in London, Ontario. This is a unionized position that requires a valid First Responder Certification, AEMCA, or Paramedic Diploma (must be finished year 1), or a Firefighter with Emergency Medical Responder Certification.
Key Responsibilities:- Transport patients via stretcher/wheelchair to/from a healthcare facility, nursing home, or private residence.
- Provide outstanding customer service and excellent communication skills.
- Valid CPR and First Aid (Level C) certification.
- Valid G class driving license.
- Ability to lift 250+ lbs. using a stretcher or stair chair with partner.
- Effective communication in both verbal and written English.
- Safe driver with a clean driving record.
- Clean Criminal Record Search with Vulnerable Sector screening.
- Up-to-date immunization records, including MMR, DPT, Polio, Varicella, Hepatitis B, COVID-19 (2 doses), and TB Skin Test (Step 1) *must be valid within last 12 months.
- High School diploma or equivalent, or post-secondary diploma.
- Competitive hourly pay.
