About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at QT Daycare. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our young students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Design and implement engaging child-care programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our children, promoting their physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Staff Supervision: Provide guidance and support to staff, trainees, or volunteers, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to excel in their roles.
  • Leadership and Activities: Lead activities that foster creativity, imagination, and learning, such as storytelling, singing, and outings to local attractions.
  • Child Guidance: Assist children in developing essential life skills, including proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits, while promoting independence and self-confidence.
  • Observation and Reporting: Monitor children's progress, identifying potential learning or behavioral issues, and prepare comprehensive reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Establish and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, community service providers, and parents, ensuring a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Environment and Safety: Create and maintain a safe, healthy, and secure environment that promotes the well-being of our children.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Licenses: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate and First Aid Certificate.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check.
  • Personal Qualities: Dependability, flexibility, reliability, and a strong team player attitude.
