Job Title: Mechanic Helper

BC LTD is seeking a reliable and skilled Mechanic Helper to join our team. As a Mechanic Helper, you will assist tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers in various tasks related to heavy equipment maintenance and operation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Move tools, equipment, and other materials as required.
  • Hold stakes during surveying activities.
  • Help tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers with tasks such as cleaning machines and immediate work areas.
Work Environment:

The work environment will be outdoors, at heights, in confined spaces, and in dangerous, noisy, dusty, cold/refrigerated, hot, and wet/damp conditions.

Work Setting:

The work setting will be in a rural area.

Requirements:
  • Physically demanding work.
  • Manual dexterity.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Handling heavy loads.
  • Large workload.
  • Work under pressure.
Weight Handling:

The ability to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs) is required.
