Job Description:This exciting opportunity will see you working as part of our skilled roofing team installing and repairing built-up roofing systems using materials like asphalt saturated felts, hot asphalt, and gravel.
You will be responsible for installing or replacing shingles, wood shakes, and masonry or baked clay roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings.
Apart from installation, you will also be required to repair or replace single-ply roofing systems, instruct apprentices, and install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools.
As a skilled Roofer Apprentice, you will work with a range of roofing systems including conventional and inverted built-up systems, modified roofing systems, and single-ply sheet membrane roofing systems.

Requirements:To succeed in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in roofing, preferably as an apprentice
- Possess strong communication and teamwork skills
- Be able to handle heavy loads (up to 23 kg/50 lbs) and work at heights
- Have excellent physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks
