Mircom Group of Companies is seeking a seasoned Demand Generation Specialist to spearhead the capture, nurturing, and conversion of leads into valuable customers and partners.

The ideal candidate will develop and implement innovative strategies to elevate brand awareness, engage potential customers, and drive interest in Mircom's products, services, and partner programs.

Key responsibilities include defining and communicating Mircom's unique value proposition through compelling content, events, and engagements to differentiate the company from competitors and solidify its market position and value proposition.

A successful Demand Generation Expert at Mircom will:

  • Create and oversee annual plans, budgets, and schedules for demand generation activities.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing and Product Management peers early in the product development cycle to craft marketing strategies and plans.
  • Design and execute demand generation strategies, programs, and tactics that increase awareness, lead acquisition, conversions, pipeline growth, and revenue delivery.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance and return on investment (ROMI), using data-driven insights to optimize and improve results.
  • Lead and manage a team of demand generation and event marketers, set goals, track progress, provide guidance, mentorship, and support to drive performance and achieve targets.
  • Oversee industry event strategy, including a mix of Mircom-owned client events and an annual calendar of industry trade shows.
  • Develop and execute digital and account-based marketing (ABM) plans, including SEO, email marketing, social media, and content marketing.
  • Manage external agencies to oversee the delivery of digital, creative, and technical services, including budget allocation, targeting strategies, and performance tracking.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in digital marketing, positioning yourself as Mircom's demand generation expert.
  • Oversee website operations to ensure it serves as an effective demand generation tool, managing SEO, content, technical performance, branding, and design.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of demand generation efforts.

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • A post-secondary diploma or degree in marketing, business management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on demand generation and events.
  • Experience leading and managing high-performing marketing teams/business units.
  • A proven track record in marketing, achieving results and business objectives.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing setting is an asset.
  • Experience in the Fire, Life Safety, and Security industry is an asset.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools, including ActiveCampaign and Hootsuite, is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • The ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to travel for live events, regional office visits, and field marketing.

  • A competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
