About the Job:

The Dishroom Assistant will work closely with our culinary team to ensure that all kitchen areas are clean and organized. This includes but is not limited to washing dishes, sanitizing equipment, and maintaining a safe working environment.

This role requires a high level of physical stamina as you will be standing for extended periods, lifting heavy loads, and working in a fast-paced environment. We offer competitive compensation, including an estimated $45,000 annual salary, and opportunities for career growth within our restaurant group.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas, including dishwashing, sanitizing, and cleaning surfaces;
• Operate dishwashers, food preparation equipment, and manual appliances;
• Stock refrigerators and storage areas with supplies and ingredients;
• Receive and unpack deliveries, restocking inventory as needed;
• Participate in daily cleaning routines, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors;
• Prepare and heat simple food items according to recipes;
• Package take-out food and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent;
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Physical ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods;
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
