Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team at Sandvik MIN, CNS - Canada. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of heavy equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and diagnose equipment issues to determine the root cause of the problem.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless equipment operation and minimize downtime.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to prevent equipment failures and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure equipment meets safety and performance standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, new technologies, and best practices to improve equipment performance and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Diploma or certification in a relevant field (mechanical/electrical) or equivalent experience as a heavy equipment mechanic.
  • 5 years of experience working with heavy equipment and machinery, preferably in a mining or construction environment.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and blueprints.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites as required.
